In a bid to promote academic excellence and empower the educational development of Oji River's youth, the Oji River Diaspora Network has partnered with the United Organization for Education and Sports Development Africa. The partnership aims to offer additional financial grants to top-performing schools in Oji River as part of the UOESD National Essay and Debating Championship. The announcement was made by Hon. Amb. Titus Anekperechi Alagba, leader of the Oji River Diaspora Network, during a chat call from Monrovia, Liberia, with Amb. Prof. Chineke Cajethan Goodluck, President General of UOESD Africa. The competition in it's 12th edition is open to primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions in Nigeria, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their skills in public speaking, critical thinking, problem solving in matters of national and international importance, and academic excellence. The initiative is expected to promote a culture of excellence and innovation in the region. The President General of UOESD Africa, Amb. Prof. Chineke Cajethan Goodluck, commended the partnership, encouraging schools in Oji River to participate in the free competition. He highlighted the attractive prizes available for winners at both local and national levels, emphasizing that the competition would provide students with a platform to develop their skills, gain recognition, and have their voices heard.
